Run your older software in new Windows Vista

Software Reviews: Possibly most of you have upgraded your PC with Windows Vista. It has its unique features. But, if you are facing any problem to run your favourite software at this new platform then I have some tips to share with you. Windows Vista comes with Compatibility Mode features. The feature tells the software application that in actual Windows Vista is an older Operating System, particularly Windows XP, Windows 2000, NT, Me, 98 or 95.

If you are facing some problem to install your software, then try this tip. Explore the CD or Dump of the Software. Right click on application’s “.exe” file. Now select the Property option and click the Compatibility Tab. The new open window will look like as:

The window will ask you to choose the Operating System that previously supported the software (or your previously installed Operating System). Once you choose it, you can easily install your software application.
